It all started with a sad bunch of flowers. I was visiting a loved one in the hospital, and the beautiful bouquet I brought had turned brown and droopy just in a few days. It felt terrible to see a gift (meant to bring joy) end up in the trash so quickly. I wanted to give something that would be eternal.

That evening, I stumbled across my old bin of plastic building blocks. I sat down and started to click pieces together and a jagged, funky red rose took shape. I decided to gift it.

When I put it on her table, she smiled. Her day was a little brighter, better. At that moment I knew I had made something great that day.
